Self-confidence. It’s a characteristic that is highly desired in our culture, isn’t it? Whether it is genuine or a facade for insecurity doesn’t seem to matter as long as the impression is one of being in control and self-sufficient. The truth is that SELF confidence is exactly the opposite of spiritual maturity. It’s GOD-confidence that will provide strength in all the circumstances of my life and in my weakness God is able to do what He alone can do as I trust in Him. “Thank you, Jesus, that today You are my help and support. You are able to do more than I can even imagine.”
