There are so many ways to “fix your eyes on Jesus” during the Christmas season. There are the carols, the Christmas concerts and wonderful music that direct our thoughts toward the arrival of the Messiah. There are cards, stories and books that help us to reflect on His miraculous birth. The candles, bells and stars can be reminders of that night when the angels announced that the Son of God had come. There are the gifts, both given and received, that call our attention to the greatest gift ever given.
But what helps you keep your focus on Him when the Christmas season is over? Would you consider giving one hour a week to studying the Gospel written by John? Each week we will study one of the ways in which Jesus described Himself by saying, “I AM . . .” It will be a great way for you to get to know The One who came to bring you God’s love and life eternal.
You can print out the study guides posted under “Current Study” for your convenience or use them online. Weekly introductions to each lesson will be posted or you can subscribe to have them sent directly to your e-mail address beginning on Friday, January 4, 2013.
