Aren’t you thankful that God didn’t simply sit back and think about doing something to fix the broken connection that began back in the Garden of Eden? He didn’t look at the disconnect between Himself and the human race and wonder if He should, could, ought to or try to do something to make it possible for a connection to be re-established. Instead, “at just the right time”, He sent an angel to Mary and announced to her that she would miraculously conceive a little baby boy, whose name would be Jesus. That little one would make God Himself visible to this world and would someday become our Savior – “the greatest and most amazing connection” ever!
How grateful I am at this Christmas season that His connection will always stay stable and strong and that He will always keep His promises to me.
