“Teach Me Your Way, O Lord” – An Insight for Lesson 8

Sometimes songs help us express the desires of our hearts. Here’s one that has helped me this week

“Teach me Your way, O Lord, teach me Your way! Your guiding grace afford, teach me Your way!  Help me to walk aright, more by faith, less by sight. Lead me with heav’nly light. Teach me Your way.

When I am sad at heart. When earthly joys depart. In hours of loneliness. In times of dire distress. In failure or success – teach me Your way.

When doubts and fear arise. When storms o’erspread the skies. Shine thro’ the cloud and rain, thro’ sorrow, toil and pain. Please make my pathway plain – teach me Your way.

Long as my life shall last. Where’er my lot is cast. Until the race is run. Until the journey’s done. Until the crown is won – teach me Your way.
