WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO?

What are you looking forward to in the New Year?  It’s a random and simple question on the surface, but the answer is often somewhat elusive and difficult to articulate? It could be that happiness would be among the top 5 desires of most people. Would you agree? None of us want problems, pressures, failure or disappointments. The reality is that most of us will have an unpredictable amount of sorrow as well as joy in the year to come. It is a huge reason to make the Book of Psalms a part of your life every day!  It is in these ancient songs that “every feature and circumstance of life is transmitted into the Lord’s presence, and put into the context of what is true about Him. They are a medicine chest for the heart and the best possible guide for practical living.” (The Songs of Jesus, Timothy Keller, p.viii)

You are invited to join our winter study in the Psalms – “Praise, Petitions, and Promises”.  Check out the study guides  (Current Study) today and tell your friends about this great tool to help you grasp and experience these truths for yourself.  You can do the lessons on your own schedule or with a friend or 2  at your convenience.  The introductions to each lesson will be posted or sent to your e-mail address if you subscribe starting next Friday, January 8.
