Here is a question that I have pondering this week as I have thought about God as MY Deliverer. “Is God more interested in changing my circumstances or would He be more desirous of changing me through or in these circumstances?” One would mean that He would deliver me from them (change them or take them away) and the other would mean that deliverance would come in the midst of them. The answer to this question changes the way that we pray and the way we live. It’s good. For me, the focus has shifted from my will and desires (comfort, health, safety, happiness) to HIS will. I recommend that you try it and then let us know what you think.
